Qualification Measures

  • Age conditions: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, but not up to 29 years old, as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars registration year.
  • Candidates presently registered in Undergraduate course programs must be on track to successfully conclude every course condition before August 1.
  • There are no conditions for a particular area of undergraduate research; every study area is welcome.
  • English Language Skills:
  1. Test of English as an international language (TOEFL PBT). The last point is 600.
  1. Internet-based Test of English as an international language. The last point is 100, or the IELTS minimum point of 7.
  1. English Skill Certificate: This condition is waived for candidates who have been researched at an undergraduate school where the primary language of instruction was English for a minimum of 2 years of the candidate’s educational program.
